Roeser Home Remodeling – Homeowners COVID-19 Information

Dear Homeowner,

We hope this email finds you safe and well. As we all adjust to the serious challenges brought on by COVID-19, we are writing on behalf of the Roeser Home Remodeling team members to extend our sincerest thanks for your support and trust in our company. We intend to do our best to take care of your home and be diligent in our efforts to keep your family safe during these unprecedented times.

As we prepare to work on your home, we will have some new procedures in place to keep your family and our team members’ exposure to a minimum. Each project manager will have the same Roeser team members with them to work on your home. Our trade partners are doing their best to make sure we have the same plumber, electrician, or tile setter on each project. We will have sanitation stations set up with wipes or beach cleaners, mask, hand sanitizer and rags. Each trade that enters a project will be asked to wipe down their tools, wear a mask (the best they can- they do tend to fog up glasses), and wash their hands before starting work. This same procedure will happen at the end of the day. At the end of the day, our team members will wipe down handles on doors, faucets, light switches, along with anything else they may feel will be touched again during the evening or weekend hours. The next morning, they will repeat this procedure.

We will have signs posted for unauthorized areas set by the Project Managers – which may be areas of the house that we are not working. If there is a need to enter those areas, only our Project Managers will be authorized to enter and he will be in charge of disinfecting anything that might have been touched.
Your Project Manager will also eliminate too many people in the area so the project that is usually staffed with several trades at one time will be reduced. This will slow your project a tiny bit but it will continue moving forward in the safest environment we can create, for both parties.

We can set up Zoom Meetings to communicate with you and your Project Manager. That way the Project Manager can show you around, get clarification on things and vice a versa.

Our team members and trade partners have been notified about what is expected of them on our projects and your Project Manager will be in charge of the follow through. Any new visitors on your project (inspectors for example) will be asked several questions from a questionnaire we have regarding their health status.
We are sure we haven’t thought of everything and we are sure adjustments will be made as we work through this new way of normal. Just know that we take your trust in us very seriously and the responsibility of creating a beautiful environment for your family as well as keep everyone as safe and contained as we possibly can.

We have given this a great amount of thought, research, and investment so we ask that you do the same for us. Keep your visits to a minimal. Follow social distancing. Wash your hands often and respect the health and feeling of those working on your home. If you are sick, even if you think it is allergies, please stay away from our team at least 24 hours after not feeling well.

If you run a fever, please keep your distance and stay confined in one area away from our team-members. They have families too.

Let’s create together! Let’s turn your space around to meet your needs! Let’s move forward as best we can with understanding, respect and patience for the unknown. And most of all stay safe and be well!

Sincerely,
Joe, Cindy, Mark and Brandi

Roeser Home Remodeling – Team Members & Trade Partners COVID-19 Information

Dear Roeser Team Members and Trade Partners,

We hope this email finds you safe and well. As we all adjust to the serious challenges brought on by COVID-19, we are writing on behalf of Joe, Cindy, Brandi and Mark to extend our sincerest thanks for your support and trust in our company.

We intend to do our best and be diligent in our efforts to keep you safe as you work during these unprecedented times.

We will have some new procedures in place to keep exposure to a minimum. Each project manager will have the same Roeser team members with them. Our trade partners are doing their best to make sure we have the same plumber, electrician, or tile setter, etc. on the project as well.

We will have sanitation stations setup with wipes or beach cleaners, mask, hand sanitizer and rags. Each team member (Trade partner and Roeser staff) that enters a project will be asked to wipe down their tools, wear a mask (the best they can…they do tend to fog up glasses), and wash their hands before starting work and every time they go out to their trucks and re-enter. This same procedure will happen at the end of the day. At the end of the day, Roeser team members will wipe down handles on doors, faucets, light switches, along with anything else they may feel will be touched again during the evening or weekend hours. The next morning, you will need to repeat this procedure.

We will have signs post for unauthorized areas set by the Project Managers, which may be areas of the house we are not working on. If there is a need to enter those areas, only our Project Managers will be authorized to enter and he will be in charge of disinfecting anything that might have been touched.

Project Manager’s will also eliminate too many people in the area, so the project that is usually staffed with several trades at one time will be reduced. This will slow the project a tiny bit but it will continue moving forward in the safest environment we can create, for all parties.

Project Managers will interact with homeowner’s through Zoom or their cell phones. We are sure we haven’t thought of everything and we are sure adjustments will be made as we work through this new way of normal. We have been meeting weekly and will continue to do so to make adjustments as needed. We are open to your suggestions as well.

We have given this a great amount of thought, research, and investment so we ask that you do this not only for yourselves but to protect the homeowners, trade-partners and team-members who would all like to go home to their families with the knowledge that they worked safely.

Rules to follow for your safety:

  • Follow social distancing- not always possible but as best you can. If you are uncomfortable with a situation, please voice your concern and we will find another solution.
  • Wash your hands often and respect the health and feelings of those working together.
  • If you are sick, even if you think it is allergies, please stay home at least 24 hours after not feeling well. You will not be allowed on a project site and will be sent home if the Project Manager thinks you are not well.
  • If you run a fever or produce any symptoms, please contact your Project Manager and stay home until you have a doctor’s consent that it is safe to return to work.
  • If a Trade Partner gets sick or is infected by COVID-19, the same rules apply and we will expect another technician to be assigned to our project ASAP.

If you do get COVID-19, please advise your Project Manager immediately so he can take the appropriate measures (such as: notifying everyone you had been in contact with, team members, trade partners, the Roeser office and the homeowner, while protecting your privacy). You may return to work with a doctor’s note.

ANYONE who has been directly impacted by COVID-19 needs to report to their Project Manager. According to recent CDC rulings, coworkers can remain working as long as there are no symptoms.

Let’s create together! Let’s work together while apart! Let’s move forward as best we can with understanding, respect and patience for the unknown. And most of all stay safe and be well!

Sincerely,
Joe, Cindy, Mark and Brandi
