A Passion for Interior Design

Brandi Ward has a passion for color, style and texture that has made her one of the most successful interior designers in St. Louis. Her love of design has made Brandi an outstanding member in the St. Louis business community.

Brandi is the Director of Design for Roeser Home Remodeling. Although she has an extensive background in fashion, design elements in the fashion world are reflected in interior design elements.

Interior design is ruled by basic principles and Brandi is a master at using these to bring beauty and functionality to any space. But she is not afraid to bend – or even break – a design rule if it will mean creating the perfect look.

Brandi first considers each client’s personality, lifestyle and needs, then uses interior design principles to create a space the client will love. Weaving together color and texture, space and light, forms and patterns, Brandi achieves the perfect balance to bring harmony to a room.

No one element is more important than the other. From the paint on the walls down to the vase on the table that echoes the curve of a nearby chair, Brandi brings all of them together into one cohesive look.

Brandi feels like she has the best of all worlds.

“I get to design and work with nice people. I get to shop, and I get to create spaces that currently are not working with the family’s home life and make it work.”

Looking To the Future

The middle child of Cindy and Joe Roeser, Brandi grew up with the company, but she has earned her many accolades on her own merit.

Brandi studied design at Columbia College Chicago. There, she received recognition several times for her designs, including representing the college with the honorable Driehaus Award for Fashion Excellence. She graduated in 2006 with honors and started her career with Roeser Home Remodeling a year later.

In 2016, Brandi was named Pro Remodeler Forty under 40 Design Specialist. The award highlights her talent and commitment to the home remodeling community.

Three years later, Brandi was cited as one of St. Louis Homes and Lifestyles magazine’s “Designers in Demand.” The magazine introduces the public to “local designers and tastemakers” who have their “fingers on the pulse of what’s hot and what’s not.”

America’s population is aging and climate change continues to impact our lives and industries. In response to the affect these will have on the remodeling trade, Brandi has earned two certifications – CAPS (Certified Aging in Place Specialist) and CGP (Certified Green Professional).

Brandi is a member of the Professional Women in Building Council, of the St. Louis Home Builders Association.

Family Connections

Brandi was born and raised in Kirkwood, where she still lives with her husband, Gordon, and their two children.

Brandi’s home once belonged to her grandmother. She and her husband remodeled it, adding several rooms, opening the floor plan and making other changes. Brandi said her neighbors were concerned they were going to tear down the home and build a “McMansion” or flip the house. But a house with a solid structure can be renovated and updated to accommodate modern living.

When you embrace what you love, as Brandi so obviously loves design, the outcome is beautiful.

The fact that her home shares a yard with her parents’ home is a reflection of the Roesers’ business philosophy. Not only are they a family-owned business, but they believe family homes can be – should be – preserved.
